Eleven Years Ago Today . . .
Eleven years ago today, I was holding my new little girl, a most precious gift. I could not have imagined all the joy she'd bring to our family, but I loved her at once. Here are some photos of her little birthday outing. I took Emma and her dear friend Sarah on a Lake Champlain boating excursion followed by dinner at a very organic flatbread pizza place (my salad came complete with seaweed--or was it "lakeweed") and a little outing at the mall. Oh, it's Emma's birthday!! I remember that time so well! I was pregnant with Marissa, due a little less than 6 months later. I was so eager to meet our own little one, and so excited about yours being born. :)
It was fun seeing the photos from her birthday excursion. :) Thanks, also, for the comment on my blog today. It was nice to hear from you! I hope you all enjoy Emma's big day. :)
